Nds Save Converter Dsv To Sav%3a Software

Sav%3a

OK, i've been fooling around with this program for a few hours now and i've been doing some troubleshooting of my own and i think i know what's up now...so it goes like this:

But yeah, the easiest way would probably be getting an Action Replay DS Max, and then convert the.sav to a.duc or whatever, then using the ARDSM to move it onto the game card. User Info: MasterOtenko. MasterOtenko - 11 years ago 2 0. DSV save files are created automatically by the emulator itself without the need of using designated save points in the game. DSV file can be modified into more popular SAV format and then used in other Nintendo DS and DS Lite emulators. DeSmuME is a cross-platform software and offers intuitive user interface, advanced configuration options.

i have a 'ROM' and a 'SAV' folder inside my DeSmuME folder. those two folders contain my original '.sav' and '.nds' files from the NDS, now i forgot to mention I'm using Acekard2i but with AKAIO firmware. OK so the game i'm playing is Phantasy Star Zero, i noticed when i startup the game using DeSmuME, in the root folder a file named 'Phantasy Star Zero.dsv' gets created, that must be the core save file the emu reads from right? so i noticed when i hovered over the .dsv file, it created a data size of 64.1KB being that it's making a new save file from scratch, so after i press file>import 'my original .sav file from the NDS' the 'Phantasy Star Zero.dsv' file turns into a data rate of 512KB which is the same as my original '.sav' data size, so i know it's loading the .sav into the .dsv correctly now. the only problem is...it's still not giving me my saved files even after i restart the emulator LOL...so any help on that? plz and thanks! XD

edit: lol oh and one more thing i'm noticing and this could be the root to the problem is...everytime i get to the main menu and load-game screen, i import my original .sav to make the .dsv the 512KB import right? but of course the changes aren't going to take place on the spot, so i reset/re-open the emulator or re-boot the rom, and i look at the .dsv file and the emulator keeps re-writing over my .dsv file so i keep having to re-import the .sav file while i'm at the loading screen so it's a never ending loop of fail...is there a way i could stop the emu from re-writing over the .dsv file so it'd read the .dsv file i want from boot of the rom?

so i changed the proper 512KB .dsv file's properties to 'read-only' so the emulator would stop over-writing the dam thing...i seriously thought this was going to work and i started up the emulator and the rom and the .dsv file's data was not changing from 512KB and wasn't being over-written! and just when i thought it was going to work...i get to the main menu and still...hasn't loaded my game...what's going on here!!!

....interesting...apparently it's showing none of my saved games, but when i created a new-game and character then started into story mode, it shows my player's proper original saved stats and everything..so it did work to an extent...but i'm totally glicthed out and can't even play the game it's practically frozen, the importing of .sav seems very broken within this game though from the looks of it...dam.

at the end of my hours upon hours of troubleshooting this dumb thing...i've come to conclude that Phantasy Star Zero's .sav file just doesn't want to work nicely with the DeSmuME...it does load, but when you create a character it'll consistantly show you 3 'new game' slots at the main menu no matter what...don't know why but...when you do make a new charcater you'll notice everything works to the point that when you start in the city your .sav's stats will be there...but your charcater will be glitched in a rock with practically no way to play the game...so that really sucks. hope it can be fixed somehow.
